-Shane’s style is fantastic!  Conversational, in control but engaging all the time

-The writing has not caught up yet.  So you can hear clunky, old writing mixed with Shane’s better flow.

Some Writing tips to help the writing catch up to Shane’s style…

-Lead with the impact, not the process.

-Use “you” and “your” as often as possible!  This forces a direct connection between the story and the listener.

-Keep the first sentence really short.  8 words max, or so.

-Avoid: suspect, apprehend, arraign, legislate, vehicle etc…
