Quick Check-in before our content study results…

Marco’s sound is much more interesting. He is lower, slower, smiling more, and offering more opinions and comments.  He is beginning to sound more like the owner of the show and less like a DJ.

-Albane sounds great in Topic of the day, smiling, conversational, holding Marco accountable for his crazy comments.   She is a little too fast toward the end but otherwise good.

-In Bon Plan Albane is too strong and too fast.  She should have the same tone and smile that she has in Topic.  It might help to not look at Bon Plan as “her” segment that needs to be presented, and instead look at it as “their” segment and she is talking directly to Marco to draw him in.

-Paul’s segment about the complaints is simply too long. There’s too much information here for a morning show.  It should be more like a “1-2-3” segment: “Paul what are the worst three internet companies? What are the worst three cell phone companies” and let Paul fill in simple answers.  Kind of like Albane’s segment, it feels like Paul is over-producing this.  He is here to give Marco cool and interesting info and we can listen in and benefit from it. He is not here to report.

-Sexo sounds good.  It sounds fun and I like the addition of sound in it.  Unfortunately I cannot tell…is there enough tension in the question?   After the content study in Paris we made adjustments to the Sexo on Voltage and I think it’s better.  I’ve included an example below.
